FLA has a wide range of Masterplanning experience, ideally placed to assist clients in developing high quality, cost effective and functional schemes that respond to environmental issues.
Our plans make sensitive use of topography, landform, natural resources, vegetation, infrastructure and buildings, resulting in more sustainable projects.
If involved from the early stages, we can make a real difference to the outcome and quality of proposals. We can lead project teams of consultants, such as engineers architects, archaeologists and in-house ecologists whose collective experience complements our own, alternatively we are pleased to collaborate with others as part of a larger team providing landscape design solutions.
Scope of Services:
Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS)
FLA has designed and completed a wide range of formal and informal SUD systems to control flow and accommodate potentially very high volumes of surface water run-off. It is important that we achieve this while still maintaining an attractive and dynamic environment, where the opportunity to add wildlife and amenity value for the community is not lost. Creating SUDS is often a challenge; however it also provides the opportunity to design coherent landscape frameworks within areas of mixed density development.
