Aboriculture, Forestry and Woodland Management

FLA provides expert advice for any party involved in tree-related issues. We also provide specialist advice for areas within special designations such as AONB, conservation areas, SSSI's and National Parks

Planning applications should follow the processes set out in BS5837:2012 "Trees in relation to construction- Recommendations"

We can advise on tree protection measures and management requirements to ensure tree stock is preserved in a favourable state for many years to come.

At FLA we deliver a wide range of arboricultural consultancy services.

For the land owner, manager or developer we can carry out:

  • Tree surveys to BS5837:2012
  • Tree Constraints Plans (TCP) to BS5837:2012
  • Arboricultural Implications Assessments (AIA) to BS 5837:2012
  • Tree Protection Plan (TPP) to BS5837:2012
