We understand the complications and technical specifications of an equestrian property and landscaping requirements.
We specialise in permissions for all equestrian facilities including ménages, gallops, indoor arenas, stable blocks, american barns, associated facilities and accomodation.
By their very nature, most equestrian facilities, lie within areas designated as Green Belt, but many also fall within National Park, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and even Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and these are all likely to have their own Special Planning Policies. When considering extending existing stables, providing new buildings, providing ménage or arena facilities, or even just extending an existing area of yard or hard standing, generally speaking planning permission will be required and it may also require a detailed Design and Access Statement.
These are all challenges on which FLA can provide advice and guidance.
